I have been involved with fighting arts since i was 9 years old, i first tried boxing, to no great extent, then judo -karate and tae kwon do, i had quite a gap until i started training in SUN KUNE DO. this opened my eyes to kickboxing, a sport that i love, being able to throw kicks as well as punches was a great advantage for me.

sun kune do, under the instruction of STEVE JOSEPH, was and still is a complete martial art, the effectiveness of the teqniques is something to see! many of steves former pupils have gone on to be world champions, british and european champions, the list is quite impressive!

I also studied thai boxing under one of the best instructors in the UK, BILL JUDD.

he was a hard taskmaster, clases were tough (very) and as he says, its a tough sport for tough people, and belive me, when i say it was hard, it was?

our gym has now been open here in chadwell, for close to two years, we now have over 100 students spread over our three trainig nights, we are rapidly expanding and only have room for a few more, although new students are always welcomed.

OVER THE YEARS IT HAS BEEN A PRIVELAGE TO HAVE TRAINED AND SPARRED WITH SO MANY GREAT FIGHTERS AND TRAINERS.

to name a few... mark kaylor (british & commonwealth middleweight champion) nigel ben (world boxing champion) julius francis (heavy weight boxing champion) and to have trained at...the henry cooper gym..thomas a beckett gym...peacock gym..and to have fought at...york hall bethnal green,the home of british fights.

I STILL FIND IT INCREDIBLE THAT I WAS THIS FIT? THESE ARE THE ONLY STILL PHOTOS OF ME FIGHTING,I HAVE GOT ONE OF MY FIGHTS ON TAPE,BUT THAT WAS WHEN I LOST,I DONT WATCH IT OFTEN! TOO PAINFULL?

now i get the best buzz when my students fight, it is not the most important thing, that they win, but, as long as they enjoy what they are doing,and they give it there best shot? who could ask for more! win loose or draw, they all have my respect.

it takes a huge ammount of courage just to enter a contest? if you have ever done this, then you will know?FULL CONTACT IS NOT FOR THE FEINT HEARTED!

a gifted full contact fighter,he is pictured with his british title belt.he has won too many honors to mention.

apart from teaching, i am also a top refferee, having been involved at european and world championship levels,i have officiated for all the major groups including..B.I.K.M.A. K.I.C.K. I.S.K.A. W.K.M.A. F.I.S.T. W.U.M.A. W.K.A. A.M.A. and others.

I also occasionaly become an m.c. i love to wind up the crowds at kickboxing events, giving the fighters the biggest and best intros, michael buffer has nothing on me?
