It all started at the images health studio,training with steve joseph.
i had tried karate,though found it quite restrictive and traditional,i enjoyed the training,but was not too impressed.wado ryu,then a short try at judo? my joints suffered under a hard regime,it was not for me!
kickboxing and sun kune do,it was a revelation,as i had tried boxing,to no great level,now i found something to realy grab my attention,a complete system
both effective and practicle.

the picture is of rob in 88, sparring with one of his clasmates.
this was at an early part of his training, when he was just a green belt.
classes were very buisy, often there would be up to thirty students at any time?
were are they all now? if you were a student of Sun Kune Do, why not contact rob via e mail, it would be good to hear from you?
class work in the early days, did you train with rob at the images health studio back in the 80s and 90s?
we are always interested in what you are doing now? steve and rob are still teaching,and we wish all of our old training partners would get in touch?
images health studio closed in the mid 90s, it is now master lokes studio and he teaches tang soo do.

SIMON JACKMAN
simon was a student of sun kune do,he trained with rob back in the 1990s.
he went on to win titles in the I.S.K.A. K.I.C.K. W.K.A. F.I.S.T. & MANY MORE!
he has now retired,but you never know with simon,he still trains with a club in west thurrock. |
